Day 3:

Started the day off by going to Mustafa Center and getting some food. Planning for the day, we decided to go to the Canning Fort, Merlion Park, Marina by the Bay, and part of Garden by the Bay. Fort canning was a decision mainly for pictures. The Fort had stairs leading downward into a hole with a dark and turquoise blue from the stone and green from the trees and vines.

Next, we walked...yes walked for miles to get to city where all of the other sight seeing activities were. First was the Merlion Park. It is basically a lion that has a water fountain coming out of its mouth. There I tried a raw coconut drink for the first time and it was disgusting, I could not even finish it. Next, we walked and took pictures with the Marina by the Bay hotel. It's a hotel with a boat on the 57th floor!! Who decided to put a boat on top of a hotel??

Since we were by the hotel, we just decided to go ahead and walk to the Garden by the Bay. This bay is exactly what the name means, it is consisted of flowers, and plants turned into art. The pictures were not too great because it was getting dark.

Next, we watched a light show on the water to end the night on the city. After the activities were finished, I got to spend time with Abi (a friend I made in Australia). I met her twin Matilda, and boyyy are they identical!! But having twin brothers I quickly made a distinction between the two to tell a difference. They took us to a Chinese restaurant, Swee Choon, that they usually go to. The food was definitely different, but glad I was able to try something new. My favs from the table was my meal, Plain La Mian in Onion and Oil, and the egg custard. After eating dinner we went home and got rested up for the next day.

Love,

Liv
